Electrical apprentice and Power Limited Technician in training

We are seeking an Electrical apprentice and Power Limited Tech in training to assist licensed journeyman and PLT electricians with the install and repairs of HVAC controls, building automation controls, process controls, security cameras and security door lock systems in both commercial and industrial construction environments.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the installation of conduits
  • Label and pull cables
  • Installation of panels, electrical equipment, security cameras and door locks
  • Assembling of electrical components
  • Help with troubleshooting and final startup of equipment
  • Organize and maintain a clean work environment, tools and equipment

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Basic knowledge of tools
  • Lift and carry 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work at heights
  • Ability to work on your feet for 10 hrs a day
  • Strong work ethic, willingness to learn and dependable
  • Driver’s license/Real ID
  • Experience with hand and power tools
  • Construction and Electrical experience preferred but not required
  • Scissor lift or ladder experience helpful

Work Environment

  • Full-time, 40-50 hours per week, when needed
  • May work in the elements year round
  • Construction sites as well as military bases, offices, schools/daycares, and factories in Eastern ND and Northern MN

  • Pay range from $30-$40/hour – depending on experience
